![]() Some HPC:Factor users may be familiar with the HPC:Factor OpenSearch implementation accessible through the help section or via a link at the bottom of the home page.
We have enhanced the search feature this evening to operate without the requirement of having our permanent search provider installed in your browser. Internet Explorer 7.0 users will see the Search button at the top right of the browser glow orange on any HPC:Factor page, indicating that it has detected the presence of a search feed - the Handheld PC Community Forums. All users with an OpenSearch compatible browser can now search the forums directly from their browser toolbar while on the site, without having to install the search feed. If you would like to keep the search feed as a permanent item on your search list, making it available when you are not browsing HPC:Factor, please add the Forum feed by clicking on the OpenSearch 1.1 link at the bottom of the home page or by following the link below.
